Job Description:

The Azure Integration Developer is responsible for ensuring robust and appropriate integrations are established ensuring a fully automated and integrated data model.

You will have strong experience with Azure technologies and a background in developing, designing and implementing complex integration solutions.

Relationship building with stakeholders across business and IT department will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into development roadmap and driving best practices.

You will need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise tasks that contribute to the delivery of project workstreams, BAU activities, and response to incidents. 

You will be tenacious and passionate, with the ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. 

You will maintain excellent attention to detail and have a logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues that affect client delivery.

The role requires you to have the ability to communicate clearly and with impact in a fast-paced and high pressure situations including the ability to challenge and influence the view of senior stakeholders respectfully, confidently, and effectively to bring a new perspective.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

Design, develop, deploy and maintain Azure based integration solutions.

Use c#.net framework (Factory Pattern) skills to evolve the firm’s integration requirements between services and platforms.

Build, Configure, and deploy integration solutions using Azure services such as Azure logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Service Bus.

Develop the overall integration strategy to include, architectural plans and designs for integrating various applications and services within the Azure Cloud environment.

Create and manage API's, including defining API Specifications, implementing API Security, and ensuring API performance and reliability.

Ensuring the reliability and functionality of applied solutions through Integration testing provide support and maintenance for deployed Azure Integration solutions.

Take ownership and build appropriate technical solutions to enable the full exploitation of the internal data warehouse capability.

Explain to stakeholders / signatories the benefits of future potential expansion opportunities.

Working Knowledge on Jenkins Pipeline , SonarQube and Jfrog artifacts.

Integrate and manage APIs across the technology space.

Work closely with Architects and the Data Transformation team.

Create and maintain appropriate process, service, and technical documentation.

Required Experience

Education / professional qualifications:

Graduate degree, preferably in IT related disciplines

Professional certifications such as Azure Certification: Developer / Solutions Architect.

Background experience:

Commercial experience and competence across c# .net stack.

Experience with Azure services and iPaaS architectures.

Extensive API development experience

Established best practice within an Azure platform

Extensive knowledge of an enterprise Azure DevOps environment.

Experience of data technologies such as a data Mesh

Ability to meet and adhere to internal and external deliverables whilst maintaining an exceptionally high standard
