We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position will plan, develop, and manage the organization's information software, applications, and systems to ensures UPS's business needs are met through continual upgrades and development of new technical solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end development, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions. He/she will work with cross-functional teams to lead the development of engaging, positive user experiences and intuitive interfaces for digital solutions for internal UPS customers. He/she will define the visual and interactive user experience for products that play a central role in future development efforts. He/she will establish UI/UX design standards, guidelines and strategies that will serve as the foundation for creating cohesive experiences. He/she is expected to champion the integration of the user experience team and these concepts within UPS and will be responsible for building upon this foundation as the UI/UX capabilities mature within the organization. He/she is expected to lead junior team members with project related activities and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide UI Systems analysis and design.
  • Develops and ensures creation of application documents.
  • Defines and produces integration builds.
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java.
  • Build dynamic user interfaces with the Angular framework.
  • Monitors emerging technology trends.
  • Designs UI performance test plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX development.
  • Proficient in Java programming language with extensive experience in building applications.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically in SQL Server management systems and development.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Microservices-based architectures.
  • Expertise in API development standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux for server management and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
